How to Sync Your Brazilian Customers' CPF from Shopify to SourcinBox App?

The CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) is the Brazilian individual taxpayer registry identification. And Customs in Brazil require inbound parcels to bear a “CPF” before they can be cleared. So if you are dropshipping to Brazil, it is advisable to collect the CPF at check-out and provide it on the package.

After you have connected your Shopify store with SourcinBox, your customer order information will be automatically synced to the SourcinBox app, so you only need to collect your customer's CPF number at the checkout page of your Shopify store. Please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Login to your Shopify store and click "Settings - Checkout".

Step 2: Choose "Optional" for the "Company name" under the "Customer information" section.

Step 3: Go to “Online Store - Themes” and choose “Edit language”.

Step 4: Set the Optional company label to “CPF”.

After the setup is complete, customers can fill in their own CPF number when they fill in the shipping address during checkout. In this way, your customer's CPF number will be automatically synced to the SourcinBox app along with the customer's order information.
